The RAF aircraft that can be seen most often in Western Canada are our transport aircraft. They are the Lockheed Tristar L1011, the British Aircraft Corporation VC10 and the Lockheed C130 Hercules. At other times you may see Panavia Tornados at CFB Cold Lake or Edmonton, as well as Sepecat Jaguars. Our fast jet fighters are more often en route to Alaska or Nevada for training.
